1. What are Cultured Marble and Granite?

Cultured marble and cultured granite are man-made molded products. They are a blend of polyester resin, real stone filler, pigment and catalyst. Each are molded and hardened to a solid material in a variety of shapes that meet diverse design needs. This manufacturing process permits a range of uses almost impossible to achieve with quarried stone.

2. What is Cultured Onyx?

Cultured Onyx is made with the same processes as cultured marble, but requires the use of higher valued, less pigmented raw materials.

3. What is the Normal Lead Time?

Generally, we have a two week lead time. However, under most circumstances vanity tops ship within 5 business days.

4. How do I Clean and Care for your products?

For Glossy Finish:

1. DO NOT use any abrasive; such as Comet, Ajax, etc., on the marble surface.
2. Clean surface with liquids only; such as Windex, 409, Mr. Clean, Gel Gloss, etc.
3. To maintain the luster; you may put a coat of furniture paste wax or Pledge on the surface and buff with a soft cloth every few months.

For Parian Finish:

Clean same as glossy finish. To remove cigarette stains, light scratches, etc., use a "SCOTCH-BRITE" pad (#7447). Rub lightly in a circular motion, always in the same directions.

5. What is your Warranty?

We have a one year warranty against manufacturer's defects.

7. How can I Remove Rust or Hard Water Deposits?

When rust or hard water deposits develop, use a buffing compound (available at any automotive store) and a soft rag to buff away the deposits.

9. How do I Drill a Hole in your products?

Caution: ALWAYS wear eye protection and a dust mask when drilling or cutting our products.

Step 1: Mark the Center of the location you wish to drill.

Step 2: DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MEASUREMENTS!!!

Step 3: Standing in front of product, Drill through the finished side of the product, using a holesaw which is the required             width of the hole.

DO NOT DRILL FROM THE UNFINISHED SIDE OF PRODUCT, AS THIS WILL CHIP THE FINISHED SURFACE.

NOTE: Faucet Hole Drillings are usually 1 1/4 inches. Holesaws for wood will work, but carbide tipped saws are desired.

10. How do I Cut your products?

Caution: ALWAYS wear eye protection and a dust mask when drilling or cutting our products.

You will need a circular saw with a masonary blade.

Step 1: Protect the finished side before cutting (We recommend soft blankets or towels.).

Step 2: Flip product over and double-check your measurements.

Step 3: Begin cutting in the unfinished side. Take your time, and let the saw do the work. When you get near

the end of the cut, slow down so that you get a nice clean break.

Step 4: Clean up excess material and jagged edges by using 60 or lower grit sand paper.

11. How do I Install my Vanity Top?

1. Check Cabinets to see if they are level.
2. If not level, shim beneath cabinet.

Open on Each End
1. When all is level, run a bead of adhesive at corners of cabinet frame.
2. Place Vanity on top of cabinet. Be sure backsplash is tight against wall. Make sure overhang margin is the same on each end. Press firmly into place.
3. Caulk using latex caulk where marble and wall meet.
4. Clean excess caulk from walls and marble.

Open-To-Wall
1.When all is level, check wall corner to see if it is square.
2. Place top on vanity to check fit in corner. If it does not fit, sand or cut the amount needed to ensure a good, tight fit.
3. When cutting and/or cutting has been completed, run a bead of adhesive along corners of cabinet framing.
4. Place vanity onto cabinet.
5. Place splash on vanity against side wall.
6. Glue side splash to wall.
7. Use silicon caulk where there is a marble-to-marble joint. Use latex caulk where there is a marble-to-wall joint.
8. Clean excess caulk off of the walls and marble.

Wall-To-Wall
1. When cabinet is level, check corners for squareness.
2. Slide vanity into place to see that it fits properly. Cut or sand for proper fit.
3.When cutting/sanding is completed, run a bead of adhesive along corners of cabinet framing.
4. Place vanity onto cabinet.
5. Put side splashes in place to check proper fit. Saw or sand as necessary.
6. Glue side splash to wall.
7. Use silicon caulk where there is a marble-to-marble joint. Use latex caulk where there is a marble-to-wall joint.
8. Clean excess caulk off of the walls and marble.
